Why do we recommend Cerawax?

We all know the critical importance that a good wax job serves in both protecting, and showing off a paint job.  There are several fine waxes on the market.  Some best suited to mechanical application, others to application by hand.

Many years ago we used one of the pure carnauba paste waxes when we hand waxed our cars.  We obtained excellent results, but it was hard work.  Then we were introduced to Cerawax.   Now we wax our cars with a carnauba wax that gives the same results, but one requiring far less work.  Rather than liquid carnauba, we have come to think of it as liquid magic.

Cerawax is easy to apply.  Once it is wiped off, it does indeed leave that “wet look.”  If there is any light oxidation, it is removed without the requirement of utilizing another product before waxing.  This feature is especially important to us.  Where we live here in Southern California , our “drivers” seem to inevitably develop light oxidation and a coating of “crud” that precipitates out of our air.
